The House That Funk Built is an exciting 6 piece male and female fronted party band covering a range of great songs to get you, your mum and your granny on the floor throwing shapes, and let me tell you, if you want to see Nana moon-walk then this is the band for you!

The House That Funk Built believes in attention to detail, and delivering an exciting performance to make every wedding or event extra special. Every aspect has been analyzed from the song list, the set order, introductions and endings to keep the dance floor packed, to what gear is used to make the band sound amazing.

THTFB consists of Drums, Bass, Guitar, Keyboards, Female Vocals and Male Vocals, and is always 100% live.

The band plays a blistering 2 x 60 (or 3 x 40) minute sets with pre-recorded music to keep people strutting their funky stuff on the dance floor between their performance.

Hi Tracey, what can I say?????? our wedding night was and still is the most talked about day and night, everyone has commented on the entertainment and I can honestly say that the band was the highlight of the evening!!!! They were "fantastic" everyone enjoyed the mix of music and most have asked for their number!!! I can't say a bad thing what so ever, absolutely brilliant!!! We also had one of the band mambers singing a 45 minute swing spot and he was totaly amazing... everyone was amazed and thought that having this as part of the evening was an excellent idea. Why have background music when there was a band member who should really be singing in "Las Vegas" - he was better than blue eyes himself!!!! Well, what can I say about Carl???? He had everyone amazed with his tricks and jokes and we've had hundreds of messages asking us if we know how he did most of his tricks!! They assumed we knew and were part of it!!! Again this chap should be on telly!!!! We laughed and cried at his part of the night and if we could have done it all over again we would not change any part of he evening entertainment that we chose... We are buying a pub/restuarant and they will be the first that we will have at our new venue... I would highly recommend The House That Funk Built to anyone and any age as they surely know their stuff and read the audience so professionally so everyone has a good time...... WELL DONE TO ALL OF THEM!!!!

Hi Matt, The House that Funk Built were absolutely outstanding! Not only were they lovely and we enjoyed chatting to them before and after the performance, but they were really professional - friendly and efficient on the phone, turning up precisely when they said they would and setting up without interrupting the party in any way. But most importantly they performed brilliantly!! Lu's and Phil's voices were amazing, the whole band sounded fantastic and their choice of songs was perfect.
